Sharon Mark

Sharon Mark grew up in Hemmingford, Quebec, Canada, where she still makes her home. She began painting in the 1980’s with acrylics, and has been exhibiting in galleries since 1992.
A self-taught artist, Sharon was always attracted to landscapes as her subject matter. Using a naive / folk style, her tranquil country scenes are often filled with old houses, barns, children and animals. She is highly influenced by the countryside near her home. Sharon’s paintings are cheery and nostalgic, depicting a romantic view of family life.
Her work is represented by galleries across Canada.
