Michael Harrison
I graduated from UNCC with a Fine Art Degree in 1981 with my concentration being in photography.
After several years of assisting in commercial studios in Charlotte and San Francisco, I began my business in Charlotte as a commercial photographer. A few clients include LeCreuset, Stockfood, Cato, Newell Rubbermaid, M.J. Soffe, Whispering Pines, Laura Ashley and Lincoln Financial (WBT, WLNK).
My passion or “thrill” in photography lies in the decisive moment when light, form, design and concept all merge to capture the briefest moment in time which without photography would have never been seen or experienced. A hidden moment forever captured.
My desire as a commercial photographer is to be a fine craftsman of the art and a communicator of the clients vision through the use of exquisite lighting, high resolution capture and powerful design.
My personal fine art work was most recently exhibited at a one man show called “An Italian Diary”in the Knight Gallery at Spirit Square in Charlotte, NC and at the South Carolina State Museum in Columbia, SC in a show titled “Piecing a Quilt of Life”
