Matt Wills

Matt Wills is an emerging pop artist who blends original characters, doodles and street art with bright, vibrant colours and a quirky but clean illustrative style.

Obsessed with popular cartoons from a young age, and later influenced by Japanese pop art, he has created his own collection of characters called “The Floobiverse,” many of whom feature in his artworks. He believes in the democratization of art and describes his own as “Colourful pop art for everyone.” He has had several exhibitions in Hong Kong, China and ES Asia, as well as licensed displays in shopping malls and charity events.

Professionally, Matt has worked as a designer for 15 years at companies such as Huayi Brothers movie studio and as the creative director for Dark Horse Comics.

He has had significant experience with popular IPs – during his career he has designed for Disney, Marvel, Warner Brothers, Blizzard, Sony, Dreamworks and 20th Century Studios.
