Marlee Ash Calligraphy & Design

Ashley was born and raised in Detroit and is currently raising her own 5 year old there too. With a passion for calligraphy and design, she has recently transitioned into Surface Design & Licensing—a process that involves creating prints that can be utilized for other projects such as clothing, furniture, home decor, art prints, etc. For her work here and on her website, you will find all lettering to be her original hand lettering; however at times she also uses readily available fonts or ones she creates herself through digital programs like Procreate (iPad) or Adobe Creative Cloud. 

Ashley is dedicated to creating beautiful pieces with timeless appeal that appeal not only aesthetically but also carry significant meaning across generations. With constant growth and evolution of design trends, Ashley continues to stay up-to-date on new techniques while staying true to what makes each artwork unique.
