Lincoln Harrison
Lincoln Harrison is a self-taught photographer from Bendigo, Australia, whose images focus largely on Australian seascapes and star trails. He often spends upwards of fifteen hours painstakingly creating each image, capturing hundreds of exposures of the foreground and sky separately.
“I went out and shot some landscapes to use a as a desktop wallpaper for my PC and became hooked”, says Harrison.
Some purists have criticized Harrison for being “too colorful” but, he continues to do things his own way. Making his starry Australian landscapes look “accurate” is not as important to the photographer as it is to make it “…look as good as it can.”
