Lanre Adefioye

Lanre is a Nigerian-Canadian neo-pop artist, painter, sculptor and a product designer. He gained experience in the fields of graphic and product design before turning to painting. A visit with a master artist as a teenager inspired him to take action and to broaden his creative quest. Lanre searched and experimented relentlessly with new ways to depict his art.
Lanre’s art is inspirational and philosophical; he combines elements of cubism and pop art in his work using vibrant colors and bold patterns as a visual expression of hope, joy, peace and love. His past, present and future inspire him to work hard on his craft. Lanre’s art is therapeutic, opening the mind to new possibilities, creating energy and providing comfort to the soul and spirit.
Lanre’s philosophy is that if you find work you love, you will never have to work a day in your life. It is amazing to be surrounded by harmonious sweeping line images that speak to the conscious mind in the desert, rainfall and sunshine.
