Judy Mastrangelo

Judy has painted all of her life, exploring many genres from Realism to Impressionism. She portrays a wide variety of subjects in her art, specializing in fairy and fantasy themes. She is happily married to her husband Michael, and they share many things in common, including their love for all the fine arts. 

Judy’s Paintings have been licensed for prints and posters, wall coverings, puzzles, calendars, greeting cards, figurines, wall murals, etc. She has also illustrated several children’s books.  Her art is now featured in an Inspirational Card Deck published by U.S. Games Systems Inc, entitled “Inspirational Wisdom from Angels and Fairies”, with text by Spiritual Teacher Frances Munro. Judy and Frances are now working on a second deck for U.S. Games.  She is involved with a series of teaching podcasts on YouTube, which describes her painting techniques that are featured in her book “PAINTING FAIRIES AND OTHER FANTASIES”.  Judy has also been interviewed several times on blog radio shows, with more scheduled for the future.

 She has been influenced by the artists of the Italian Renaissance, the PreRaphealites, Maxfield Parrish, The Hudson River School artists, and the French Impressionists. She has traveled to several countries, visiting their many beautiful gardens , often portraying these lovely landscapes and florals in her paintings for all to enjoy.  She often “daydreams” about her paintings for a while before putting them on canvas. A preliminary technique called “Mind Painting” helping develop unique works of art that is her own.
