Harro Maass
Harro Maass graduated in 1962 from the Werkkunstschule of Graphic Design Krefeld, Germany. He has worked as a freelance illustrator since 1974 and started painting wildlife in 1987. Articles about him can be found in Wildlife Art Magazine (March/April 2003) and US Art (August 2000).
He depicts wildlife from those parts of the world he as himself visited.
Harro has held three one-man shows in Germany and exhibited in galleries, museums and other shows both in Europe and the United States
His home is in Ratingen Germany, near Düsseldorf.
His work is represented in the collections of the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Wausau and the Alexander Koenig
