Gabriel Helou Photography

I’m a Jerusalem-based award-winning fine art photographer, inspired by the beauty and rich culture of my home City – Jerusalem. I have a particular passion for cityscape and landscape photography. My love for photography has developed from a young age, roaming the cobblestone-lined streets of the Old City of Jerusalem. Whilst holding two degrees in law, my passion for photography only grew stronger. In 2015, I started as a self-taught photographer, living in Jerusalem, with all its significant sites and landmarks, have motivated me to develop my creative photographic skills. I enrolled in photography courses and was offered tutoring at the hands of top professional photographers.

My photographs capture moments of time into work of art. I search for what interconnects a message to viewers to ponder on while reflecting my identifiable artistic style. I enjoy doing both colour and black & white photography. I also love traveling to discover new places, sites, and landmarks.

To me, photography is about feelings where I convey mine without words. Also, it’s about discovery of interesting things in life; historical places and beauty of nature to share with those who appreciate them. It adds joy to my heart seeing my artwork hanging on people’s walls.

My photography work has been published in art magazines and is also found with private collectors. In addition, I participated in many international art fairs and exhibitions.
