Gabi Ger

I am an Hungarian-born Israeli artist. I live and work in the center of Tel Aviv. I am so lucky, because my livelihood and my favorite activity is one and the same. When I paint, time and space are disappearing. The only existing reality is the action and interaction between me, the materials, paints, colors, and shapes. I like to use vivid, bright colors. I love the varieties of shapes, sizes, colors. I work quickly and vigorously. I work dynamically, but as part of my working method, after a few days I bring out the picture again to emphasize/highlight certain details .
