Elizabeth Bruders

Elizabeth Bruders is an innovative artist seeking to draw out beauty in ordinary objects in nature and capturing the diverse personalities of children and animals with vibrant portraits. She loves reconceiving the beauty and wonder found in our natural world.
Elizabeth began studying art seriously in high school where she took classes in drawing, painting, and jewelry-making. Her dedication for creating art continued at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where she majored in fine art drawing and printmaking. Her photography career launched in 2008 with iStock.com, where over 10,000 of her images have been purchased for commercial use.
iStock was a great starting point, but Elizabeth discovered she wanted to pursue more creative ideas that allowed her to explore the natural world. ​She loves experimenting with mixed media, combining photography and drawing, and using both traditional and digital tools to create her artwork.
