Delene Lambert

Delene Lambert is a self taught artist and has been painting for over 30 years. She is originally from Zimbabwe where her and her husband had a farm. Living in such an isolated place she took up painting as a form of pastime which then turned full time as her paintings sold more and more.
After being forcibly evicted from their farm in 2002 by the Zimbabwean Government during the upheavel in Zimbabwe, she, her husband and two children moved to South Africa where she resides near Ellisras.

Delene spends many hours at waterholes to study and observe the wild animals she loves to paint and to make as realistic an interpretation as possible. Painting horses is also top of the list. Her love of form and colour can be seen in her paintings and she sends her paintings to customers worldwide.
