Deborah Broughton

Deborah Broughton is a contemporary painter based in Dee Why, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Easily recognized with vibrant colour and unique designs, Deborah’s paintings invite you to share her unique observations of the beautiful world around us. Close-up floral studies, panoramic scenes of tropical paradise, and contemporary abstracts are all part of Deborah’s range, and frog fans can’t go past her expressive Green Tree Frogs n’ Flowers series!

Deborah was born in Masvingo, Zimbabwe, and later moved to South Africa where she completed a post-graduate degree in Psychology and Visual Communication. She spent ten years working as a graphic designer and later web designer, in South Africa, the UK and Australia, before returning to painting full time in 2003.
