Debi Coules

Art with a strong sense of emotion and softness. From an early age Debi was drawing beautiful ladies in evening gowns and ballerinas for herself and for her friends. Since then she has never put down her pencil . In high school she was encouraged by her art teacher to pursue a career as an artist. Because his mentoring, advice and her love for art, she did just that. Debi went on to Syracuse University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts and studied Illustration/ Fashion Illustration and Fine Art.
Debi spent much time in NYC and Los Angeles where she worked in Illustration/fashion and textile design, as well as teaching Fashion Illustration. Debi has also illustrated six children’s books which are presently on the market. For the past 15 years Debi has returned to the studio to paint, sometimes on canvas, wood and even home décor pieces. Presently living in Florida, Debi is painting mainly in acrylic; however she is constantly exploring new techniques, mediums and subject matters. Her love of flowers, animals and fashion are evident in her work.
Debi has been featured in magazines worldwide such as Romantic Homes, Romantic Country, Paintworks, Cottage Style, Daphne’s Diary and many more. Her paintings and commissioned works span the globe and are enjoyed by collectors internationally.
