chris has been a full-time, working artist for most of the last 4 decades, specializing in editorial and commercial photography.
As he was born and grew up in NYC, a certain grittiness and harshness seems to permeate his work, even in the beautiful.
Providing hundreds of magazine covers/brochures for clients has allowed chris the opportunity to travel and embrace various cultures, customs and concepts.
His commercial work has always embraced the wonder and horror of humanity, whilst the personal or art work has been a constant search for the unique. It is very common for the art work to be all about the detail, the colors that are there or the ones that are not. A certain sense of irony is pervasive.
