Conrad Knutsen

Conrad has been actively pursuing an artistic career since the age of 20. Born in 1954 in New York he has close to 30 years of professional experience as a fine artist and commercial illustrator. His work has been published in many publications and is exhibited in many galleries across the U.S.

Conrad is currently illustrating a series of images for postage stamps for countries around the world. Although his art is realistic in nature he likes to play with color and texture to evoke a simple beauty to his viewers. He enjoys a variety of subjects but prefers the feeling of nature, which is reflected in his still lifes.

Mr. Knutsen currently resides in Pennsylvania where he works as a freelance illustrator and pursues his fine art from his studio in the country. During his free time he enjoys teaching art at a nearby college.
