Beverly Doyle
An award winning artist, Beverly Doyle has was born on an old New England Farm in Massachusetts. Surrounded by animals and farm land, she had an early interest and talent for drawing and painting farm animals specializing in horses.
Beverly’s education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Framingham State University with a minor in Biology. She continued her education at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She had a career for many years as a Graphic Designer and illustrator. Her published illustrations in several Children’s nature books and science journals have won her several prestigious awards.
Following her years as a graphic designer in Colorado, Beverly returned to New England to live in a rural farming community of Vermont with her husband and her horse. The beauty of the old barns and farm animals inspired her to return to her roots. A trip to the county fair to watch the draft competitions and draw the livestock on exhibit was a particular turning point in her career path. Her style is realistic and works primarily in oils and acrylics. Her work has won awards in several national art competitions. She is a juried member of the American Academy of Equine Fine Art. Her works can be seen in local galleries and private collections. Beverly strives to capture the beauty of farm life that is so dependent on animals and the foundation of Vermont culture.
