When Robin Anderson was six years old, her mother, trying to entertain a bored child, sent her off to draw a picture. From that point, with the continual support of her mother, Robin went on to Junior College and later received advanced placement in the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Financial restraints forced Robin to leave the Art Center and turn her attention toward free-lance commissions and commercial art. After ten years she began working with oils and devoted herself full-time to fine art. After seven months and a move to southern California she had her first showing in Laguna Beach, which began her successful career as an oil painter.
