Since graduating in Fine Art from the University of London, Graham Twyford has become established as a landscape painter and illustrator working mainly in the glorious countryside of the English Lake District. He has contributed to notable exhibitions including the Royal Academy and annually exhibits a collection of paintings at the prestigious Lake Artists Society, gaining membership in the 1980’s.
Graham’s designs have been reproduced on many quality products since his first collectors plate, a sumptuous depiction of the legend of St. George, was released by Coalport in 1990. Successful series followed such as “The Legends of Love” produced by Compton & Woodhouse with Royal Doulton, and “Gone Fishing” by Danbury Mint with Wedgwood. In more recent times Graham’s work has been licensed on puzzles around the world to great success.
His light filled original oil paintings and watercolours are much sought after and collected, increasingly by American visitors to England.
