Goodbye and Hello

Dec 30, 2020

As we look to this past year with a lot of mixed emotions that many of us would like to forget, it's important to recognize that stuff just happens. Whether slow moving or blindsiding, the Universe is always changing in incredible ways. And just as we look with optimism to every new year, so should we look to the greatness of every day as it comes and as it goes. Letting go of that which no longer serves us and that which we can't control...and saying hello to the brightness of whatever comes next. A theme that resonates with the Brazilian author, Paulo Coelho , ("The Alchemist") who is the source of our quote of inspiration. WE offer up the 20 most "liked" images of the year chosen by, none other than YOU! We are so grateful for all of you and remain thankful as we move to 2021.

Snowman

Dec 14, 2020

There is no age limit to building a snowman, especially when a smooth blanket of freshly fallen snow beckons you to come out and mess it up with crisscrossing tracks of rolling snow-boulders. The kid comes out in all of us!
AOTW is painter Catherine Nolin with neo-primitivism folk art. Beautiful detail and rich colors. We feature interpretive landscapes by Caroline Duncan ART and show off a puzzle collection with images by John Van Staalen.
Hope all of you have a chance to get outside in the fresh air. https://conta.cc/3qUC16V

Believe

Dec 07, 2020

Our quote for this week comes from an unknown source, which is a shame since it's so simple, yet so reflective of how we see ourselves. We don't have to believe in Santa, but we can pretend to be like him and spread joy and giving throughout the holidays. Now that's something to believe in...
Our AOTW, Robert Harding Picture Library has over 850 exciting and adventurous images from around the globe in our archive. Our feature artist, Robert Finale paints scenes from city to country, spring to winter in beautiful color. Macneil Studios images of santa in the village are made into 3D sculptures for holiday home decor. Check that out here... https://conta.cc/3qDarv5
